Boardsmill Gospel Choir started out as ‘Boardsmill Youth Choir’ singing every Sunday at mass in our local church. Over the past four years we have broadened our repertoire covering many genres including pop and gospel.Since 2003, Boardsmill Gospel Choir has raised over 80,000 Euro for various deserving charities. These include Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children, Crumlin, The Chernobyl Children’s Project and St. Raphael’s Children’s Hospice, Celbridge to name but a few. This money was generated through many projects including the recording of our C.D. ‘Angel’, and from performing in numerous gospel concerts in many parishes. In 2006 we won the title popular choir of the year beating choirs from throughout Ireland. We have also had the pleasure of singing with Dublin Gospel Choir and the world renowned Harlem Gospel Choir on there 2007 tour of Ireland.We have just released our second album "Lean On Me" which all the proceeds of will be donated to Down Syndrome Ireland (Louth Meath Branch)Concert-DatesPhotosCONTACTPage-3
